The Annual 4th of July Medina Lake Bar-B-Q was a great success. This holiday celebration is for people with disabilities, their friends and family members. The date was Saturday, July 2nd Start time was noon. The food was served from 3-4 pm. We always want people to drive down to the lake to unload people and supplies then move your vehicle to the designated parking area.
Participants are asked to bring the following:
- 1. side dishes for the barbecue. The DITW is cooking the meat. You are welcome to use the pits if you want to bring something special for your family.
- 2. Extra folding chairs, towels, sun block, old shoes for the lake. You are welcome to bring fishing tackle, tubes, etc.
- 3. NO GLASS BOTTLES.
- 4 Your can bring whatever you want to drink. We will provide ice water, ice tea and lemonade.
- 5. The main fireworks show will start at dark provided by Alan and Kim Smith who live next door to The Door In The Wall property. Every year seems better than the last. It really is fantastic! THANK YOU ! PICTURES POSTED BELOW !

2012 SCHEDULE
This year, the 4th of July lands on Wednesday. We schedule the our barbecue around the fireworks schedule. This will probably happen the weekend before the 4th. We will announce the date of this event as soon as we get the fireworks date confirmed. Stay tuned!
SPACE IS LIMITED. You must call to let us know you're coming so we have enough meat for everyone:

There is an accessible bathroom and shower available. The bath house has A/C if someone needs to get out of the heat.
Campers are welcome for Saturday night. Bring your own tent. Check out by 6pm Sunday.
